With an excellent victory over Hungary in yesterday’s match, Croatia secured its place in the semi-finals of the EHF EURO 2026, continuing an impressive run of success at major international tournaments.
Key victories against Iceland and Switzerland opened the door to the semi-finals and confirmed that this generation of players is ready for great achievements. Croatia edged past Iceland 30:29 in a thrilling match full of momentum shifts and tension, while Dagur Sigurdsson’s team delivered a dominant performance against Switzerland, winning 28:24 and imposing their tempo and disciplined defence throughout the game.
